How much of my personal life should I include in my presentation?


In a presentation for work, the topic I'd like to discuss would lend itself well to the inclusion of a personal, relevant anecdote. Do you think this would go over well with the audience, or would it possibly be too sentimental?

powerpointGuru 		That depends on quite a large number of factors. How personal is the story? What type of meeting is it? Who will the audience be? How relevant is the story? Judging by what you've said, I'd say it would be okay as long as the story is brief and, possibly, humorous and at the beginning of your presentation.
