How do I keep myself from talking too fast?


While giving presentations, I tend to talk much too quickly. I think this causes the audience to lose interest in what I'm saying because I'm rushing through everything and it's easier to just not keep up. How can I fix this? You'd think that after years of doing this I would've mastered it...

powerpointGuru 		I don't have much experience giving presentations other than small things here and there for school, but my advice would be to actively try to talk slowly as you present, even slower than you think would sound natural. For the audience, it'll probably sound perfect. Good luck.
