How can I stop myself from moving around while giving presentations?


I'm taking a college public speaking class and for our first few speeches we were allowed to use a piece of paper with notes on it, and I found that my hands shook and, of course, so did the paper. Then, when I gave my first speech without notes, I realized that I rocked back and forth on my feet. How can I stop myself from moving around so much? I'm not even that nervous.

Nick124 		The next time you give a presentation, consciously think of what you are doing with your body. Prepare your material well so you can focus more on keeping yourself composed. If you get in the habit of doing this, it'll become habit and eventually you'll have control over your movements without thinking about it.
