Where to study Microsoft Office applications?


My daughter wants to take classes to learn Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) to get some kind of certificate of completion so she can get an office job. We're in Westchester, NY, but she could travel to nyc if needed....where can so go? Westchester Community College? Or some trade school??? Thanks...

AriB12 		I would definitely suggest the community college. I went to one and studied Photoshop there. The classes are cheap and just as effective as going to a university in my opinion. Just make sure she researches the professors first on ratemyprofessors.com so she gets as good of an education as possible.

lwright 		Go to the community college. You will get a better education than at a trade school. If she can't get into Westchester then she could go to Dutchess. At the community college she could just take the computer courses that she needs but a two year degree is better. The AAS Business Administration will work BUT she should also think about the AS Accounting. Associate degree bookkeepers are in demand and she might like it. If not, she is still prepared for an office job.
