What are some interesting ways I can combine the features of PowerPoint and Excel?


I have some free time and want to expand my knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, specifically how to use the programs in combination with each other to create some interesting stuff. I know I could copy and paste spreadsheets into PowerPoint, but is there anything else I could do?

Nick124 		You can actually do something called "pasting link data" which allows you to link an Excel and PowerPoint document. Then, whenever you add/remove/edit anything in the Excel document the changes are shown in the PowerPoint presentation as well. I'll let you see where that takes you :)
