How can I number my slides?


I'm creating a slideshow that is supposed to look like a children's storybook. I'd like to include slide numbers on the slides, but unfortunately I don't have experience doing this. Also, I'd like to have numbers on all of the slides except the first one (since books obviously don't have a page number on the cover).

AriB12 		Go to Insert > Text > Slide Number. Then, make sure you're on the "Slide" tab. Finally, check the "Slide number" box, check the "Don't show on title slide" box, and click "Apply to All". Good luck with your project, it sounds very interesting and like a nice change of pace from the usual presentation.
