How do I stop PowerPoint from automatically changing "1st", "2nd", "3rd", etc.?


PowerPoint 2007 automatically changes things like "1st" so that the "st" is smaller and offset to the top. How can I stop the software from doing this? I know Microsoft was just trying to help users out, but sometimes their "helpfulness" is more annoying than helpful.

AndrewB 		Heh, this is the opposite of the problem you had earlier :) First, click on the circular "Office" button at the top left of your screen. Then, go to PowerPoint Options > Proofing > AutoCorrect Options > AutoFormat As You Type. Finally, un-check the "Ordinals (1st) with superscript" box.
