What is the slide sorter view for?


I always have PowerPoint on the normal, default view while creating slideshows. I recently noticed that there is also a "Slide Sorter" view. I was just wondering what people normally use this view for, because to be honest, I can easily sort my slides using the normal view.

AriB12 		You're right, you can easily change the order of your slides from the default view, but some people like to see larger tiles of all their slides on a grid. I guess it would be useful for people who are more visual and for slideshows that contain a large number of slides. It also allows you to easily preview animations and transitions.
