How to make a fraction In a Open Office document?


How can I make a fraction in Open Office for a WORD document? Thank you.
I'm in Algebra 2. So the fraction that has a number, a horizontal line below it, then a number under the line.

agraham 		To insert an equation, you go to Insert->Object->Formula. This will make a textbox pop up on the bottom of the window. In that textbox, type {stuff} over {other stuff}, including the braces, replacing stuff with what you want the fraction to be. I'm not sure if that will transfer over to Word, but that's how you get a fraction in OpenOffice

lwright 		I'm inclined to ask you to clarify. By "fraction" do you mean the math kind? And other than something like 5/8 + 7/8? And when you say WORD document you're talking about the word processor for Open Office I assume.
