How do I use the compatibility pack for PowerPoint 2010 to open a 2003 version?


I am looking for step-by-step help to open a presentation that is made using PowerPoint 2010 using PowerPoint 2003. Please help and thanks.

You can use one out of two methods
Method 1:
You can save the presentation made using the 2010 version as a ".ppt" file. To do this you will need to click the office icon at the top left of the powerpoint program, then click "save-as". Before you save be sure to select "PowerPoint 97-2003 Presentation".

Method 2"
You can install the Compatibility pack for Excel, word, and PowerPoint 2007 file formats. Here is the download link for that:

Download to your PowerPoint 2003. This will automatically allow PowerPoint 2003 to read PowerPoint 2010 versions
