PowerPoint on iMac 21.5 2010 version HELP?


I just bought an iMAC 21.5 2010 and Microsoft Office 2007 was installed on it. I want to know if I make a word or PowerPoint file it it can work on the dell desktop PC, and vice versa, or if I need a separate steps to make them compatible. I am working on a school project so please help me. I just dont want to stand the chance of corrupting my file and losing my work. Thank You

Are you sure it is Office 2007 on your iMAC? From what I know Office 2007 do not work on MACs. Your MAC should have maybe Office 2010. Anyway, whatever version you have will be compatible on either computer. The MAC and PC version of PowerPoint still use the same file format. Hope this helps and good luck with your project.

Make sure when you save, you use "SAVE AS" to save it the compatible file format.
