How important is it to apply updates to PowerPoint?


I know that people say you should update Microsoft's software as soon as updates become available, but I'm worried about doing that because one of my computers is a bit old and I'm afraid that if I update PowerPoint on that computer, the software will run slower.

Nick124 		Since you said it's on an older computer, I'm assuming you're talking abut PowerPoint 2003. In that case, it's pretty important to install Service Packs 1 & 2. Otherwise, you may not be able to open certain presentations and work with certain fonts. It shouldn't make your computer run slower, so don't worry about that.
