Can I upgrade to the new version of PowerPoint for free?


I have PowerPoint 2007 and would like to upgrade to the newest version (2010). Is there any way that Microsoft allows users to upgrade for free, or at least at a reduced price? It only seems fair that I'd be able to do this since I already paid so much for the version I have now.

AndrewB 		No, unfortunately you can't. And yes, it does seem like you would be able to upgrade at at least a reduced price (since they do that with their operating systems), but that isn't the case with their Office suite. If I were you, I would just stick with the version you currently have. The newer ones don't have anything new that would justify the price.
